      My husband has suffered from celiac since about 1975.  In all that time we have not been satisfied with any bread or bread mix - until today. I found your mix the last time I went  to our Hannaford store and was quite thrilled to see it came from Maine, since my husband was born and raised in Sidney.
    I made a loaf today and it is great !  Thank you for what must have been a lot of trial and error to get such an easy, good tasting recipe.

   In the past year since my diagnosis with Celiac Disease, I have been on a mission to find good tasting foods that I can enjoy. Since I am also allergic to dairy and eggs, that can be a challenge. I have bought store bought muffins from dedicated bakeries that were quite expensive and had the conistency and flavor of sawdust. I tried experimenting with other mixes and had limited success. Then today I happened into Hannaford's in York, Maine after a walk on the beach and found your muffin mix. I was a little sceptical, after all, most other forays into gf baking have been disappointing; but using your recipie I made gf date nut muffins using OJ for the sour cream and applesauce as an egg replacer and 6 tbsp of nature's balance dairy free margerine for the butter. These turned out to be the most delicious muffins I have had in a long long time! I am eager to try some of your other recipies later.

  I am writing to let you know that one can use lactaid milk in your recipe and it will be fine. I just made the chocolate cake mixture into cupcakes with lactaid milk. My cupcakes are delicious ! It is a real treat to have dessert like other members in the family. Thank you !

  A Registered Nurse in Maine just started a company that has developed a line of gluten free foods. I can’t imagine not being able to eat breads and pastas, but there is a growing population of folks suffering from celiac disease. We have their Pizza Dough Mix, Cocoa Brownie Mix, Belgian Waffle Mix, Cinnamon Raisin Roll Mix and Coffee Cake Mix.  We have only had them for a week, but there seems to be demand, because they are already selling, and one customer came back and told me how good the brownies were, especially since not having enjoyed one for several years!

  I recently discovered that I am wheat-sensitive. I have been navigating the
grocery store and health food store, looking for substitutes and alternatives to staples and favorites. This week I tried your Muffin Mix.  To
be honest, I was a bit wary. I tried another company's cookie mix a few weeks ago and was unimpressed. To my delight, your muffin mix is wonderful!

  I purchased your muffin mix at a local store and my boys LOVED  it ( twins that will be 3 this month). They have multiple food allergies and I have a hard time finding products that hold up. They are gluten intolerant, as well as having an egg allergy. I have tried all sorts of things when baking and everything I bake are dense and collapse. I was AMAZED how light and full the muffins are.   Thank You  !
